Katy Perry The One That Got Away Inspired Tutorial List of Products

I am usually not a huge fan of Katy Perry, don't get me wrong I love Pop music, but her song don't really connect with me. However her new single is a whole different story, I am glad she took a more serious direction and released a deeper lyric and melody as her new single.

Better than the song is the video. OMG, Diego Luna is just one of the hottest man, if you are latina like I am then you've known Diego for a while now. So absolutely HOTNESS GALORE, the next best thing is her messy and sexy makeup. She ditched her usual blue hair and glitterful eyes for a more Rock N Roll vibe and I am loving it.

The whole look is focused on imperfection and messy strokes so if you are a beginner at makeup well... this is your lucky day!

Here are some swatches and photos and closer looks into my faves.

The Best Palette of 2011 Hands Down! TOO FACED Sweet Dreams Palette and it is exclusive for Sephora.

From left to right: MAC Blush in Gleeful (perfect for MissCodyFUL :p) Sephora Jumbo Eye Liner in Purple, MAC Lipstick in Taupe & Laura Mercier Lipstick in Bing Cherry. (Laura Mercier's personal favorite)

OMG One of the best perfumes Ever, simply delish..! Viktor & Rolf Flower Bomb.

I've always been a beauty junkie, but I started to get into nail polish after I started watching youtube videos.

If you watch youtube videos, gurus have been raving about Peridot. It is truly an amazing color. Chanel is pretty expensive so if you are to splurge the $25 on a nail polish I would totally recommend this one. When you are looking for higher end products my rule of thumb is to spend the money on things that are unique and unlike something I have never seen before. If you were looking for a dark cranberry nail polish I would tell you stay away from the expensive ones and look into Wet n' Wild or OPI. But this nail polish is so different I think it makes up for the price.

Defining the color of this polish is quite hard, it changes depending on how the light hits it. But overall it is a golden- green base with a blue double chrome. It is the closest thing to a "Mood Changing" Nail Polish. :D

However, here are some budget friendly dupes so you can get the Peridot style, for a steal!

  • Peace on Earth by China Glaze
  • Diving in Malaysia by Sephora

Welcome To My Blog!

Looking back on my short life, most of my childhood memories include make-up. Many people believe make-up is superficial and that is just meant to falsely portray a person. For me, make-up was and still is an escape. I remember blasting my favorite CDs and transforming myself into this different personas with the help of some badly applied red lipstick and a mole near my lips.

Make-up it is not rocket science, so I won't sit here and write about it as it was. Make-up is just mean to be fun and fearless, and if you are ready for the ride, well... come join me!
